Members of the Houston Alumni Chapter attended a theatrical
production of Jersey Boys at Sarofim Hall in Houston,
Texas on Saturday, January 19. The musical, which chronicles
the Four Seasons’ rise to fame, transported alumni back to the
rock-filled days of the ‘60s when some of them were college
students.
After the show, alumni met at the nearby Arista Restaurant for
dinner and continued to reminisce about old times. For many,
this was a welcome chance to share stories about their experiences
as students at St. John’s. “This was a great opportunity to
be with the alumni,” shared Mary Jo Black ’80L.
Attendees appreciated the chance to get together and expressed
the desire to attend future events like this one. “What a
wonderful show,” commented Edward Millin ’52C. “We all
enjoyed each other’s company and I look forward to more events like
my next reunion at St. John’s.”
The Houston Alumni Chapter stays active with several events
each year which include a beach party and dinner.
