This year’s men’s basketball team has been one of the most
talked about stories in the NCAA. Led by strong performances from
its 10 returning seniors, the Red Storm have started the season off
with an impressive 3-2 conference record. Gritty wins against West
Virginia, Providence and perennial rival Georgetown have generated
a buzz around the team and its energetic new coach, Steve Lavin.
The home atmosphere at both Madison Square Garden and Carnesecca
Arena has been electric.
