An Evening to Remember for Staten Island Alumni

November 16, 2010

It was a time for good food, dear friends and warm memories as St. John's University alumni who went to school on Staten Island came back to campus for the Second Annual Fall Classic Cocktail Reception. The event was sponsored by Larry Durso '75NDC, one of the University's most active and enthusiastic supporters and currently President of the Staten Island Alumni Association.

"This was really a good evening and I'm so pleased to see everyone having such a good time," said Durso. "We hope to build on this success next year and continue fostering this tradition for the Staten Island campus."

The opportunity to get back together with friends, many of whom they hadn't seen since their student days, and reminisce about the activities they shared made the evening special for everyone.

"It's great to reconnect with old friends and remember the good times we had while we were students here," remarked Erica Mattera '96NDC. "I was a member of the Stager's Society while I was in school and the memories I have from that experience are wonderful."
