Every parent of a St. John’s student is automatically a member
of our Parent Association. Your next step is to embrace the
benefits of participating in our growing community of parents
actively engaged in their children’s education.
Benefits of Membership
Participate in the Parent Association, and you’ll be engaged in the
pulse of St. John’s University. Members of the Parent Association
enjoy a variety of benefits:
- Our regular Parent Association e-newsletter
- Workshops for parents on a variety of useful topics
- Invitations to Parent Association socials
- Opportunities to provide feedback on programs, events,
etc.
Members of the Parent Association also are in a unique position
to do the following:
- Share parental perspectives on life and learning with
University leaders
- Provide feedback and share ideas about University programs and
services
- Volunteer – and recruit other parents – for Family Weekend and
New Student Orientation
- Help greet new students and parents at Family Weekend and New
Student Orientation
- Develop ideas for publications geared toward families
