Queens Campus Halloween Trick-or-Treat A Success
Your student may have been one of the residents who volunteered their time to host over 150 children from the Boys and Girls Club and St. John the Baptist to enjoy a Safe Trick-or-Treat through the residence halls on Sunday, October 28th.  The children were treated to games and crafts and then escorted through the halls to go door to door for Halloween.

Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving is a few weeks away. The Residence Halls will remain open during the Thanksgiving Break.  For security purposes, students should notify their Resident Director/Assistant if they are planning to stay in the Residence Halls over the break.  During the break, overnight and non-St. John’s visitors are not permitted in the residence halls and there are no dining services during this time.

Dining Services on the Queens Campus will host students for the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner in Montgoris Hall on Tuesday, November 13th.  As a special event for the holiday, University Administrators, Staff and Faculty will be on hand to serve dinner to students.

If your student is staying on the Queens Campus Residence Halls during the break they are invited to join us for a catered Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 22nd in the Donovan Community Room at 3:00pm.  Students who sign up in advance will also receive a Metro Card to go the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

For those students staying on the Staten Island Campus, there will be a homemade Thanksgiving Dinner in the Residence Life Community Room at 5:00 PM, Thursday, November 22nd. Additionally, there will be a shopping trip leaving at 11:00 AM on Friday, bus will be provided.
