Student Wellness
As the fall semester gets underway, we understand that freshmen
especially may face challenges with time management skills,
negotiating class schedules, maintaining a budget, developing new
relationships, pursuing new interests and taking on new
responsibilities. The Department of Student Wellness is
committed to helping first-year students make a smooth transition

Learning Communities
The Learning Communities Program is a new initiative at St. John's
University, uniting resident and commuter students with professors
who have the same academic interest. This shared interest is
heightened by events planned by the professor for both inside and

Leadership Development
The mission of Leadership Development is to supplement our St.
John’s University mission by educating and providing programs that
assist and enhance students in their personal growth,
decision-making, and leadership advancement and training. In this

Global Start Week
The Office of Global Studies will be working with various
departments and organizations on campus to give us Global Start
Week from September 15 to 19, 2008. Various events will be held
throughout the week in order to generate interest in the offices

John's University community since 1956. Our Greek
organizations are comprised of groups of individuals with various
