Students in the Non-Certificate Program are not required to attend a prescribed number of workshops; they may select these at random. Certificate Program Students with a desire to hold leadership positions in student organizations, to improve leadership skills in preparation for the workforce, or simply for personal development are encouraged to enroll in the Certificate Program. All enrolled students must fulfill the appropriate requirements for the respective leadership track and are assigned to one of four leadership tracks.Women In Leadership Program The Women in Leadership Program introduces students to influential women in the Community. Through a network of faculty members and mentors, both on and off campus, students are encouraged to learn to lead with integrity through participation in a series of workshops that focus on academics, community service, spiritual development, and the personal enhancement of women. The Women in Leadership program also builds connections between women leaders so that students can make a difference in their professional, personal life and community. This program is designed to build leadership skills by providing workshops, seminars and training in critical areas of leadership development to all leaders at St. John’s University. This certificate program is open to all undergraduate students. Servant Leadership Program Servant Leadership at STJ is a leadership certification program committed to developing future leaders who practice the servant leadership philosophy. Participants are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills through exciting and innovative leadership sessions, hands-on modeling of leadership practices and participation in community and University service projects locally, nationally and internationally.
