Labor Relations and Employment Law Society
The Labor Relations and Employment Law Society at St. John's School of Law hosts a Speaker Series that brings prominent members in the field to the Law School throughout the year. In the past, the Society has sponsored visits from prominent figures such as AFL-CIO President John Sweeney and NLRB Chairman Peter Hurtgen. The highlight of the year is the annual Management Lawyers Colloquium, generally held early in the fall semester, which attracts over 50 prominent labor and employment attorneys. Society members meet periodically to network, exchange ideas and plan events.
