Classroom Technology

The University has continued to evolve the technology available in its classroom. The current initiative is to make it more natural for professors to use, where appropriate, electronic media, either stand-alone or Internet connected in their classrooms. The goal for Information Technology is to provide predictable, reliable, easy to use, technology services, in every classroom enabling faculty to confidently use it during their class.

The University has equipped almost every classroom with wireless network access, a podium, faculty computer, and projection equipment that can be viewed by all students. Faculty have the option of connecting and projecting the image from their laptop computers in all multimedia classrooms.

Newer classrooms are being equipped with LCD panels to increase the space on the podium. Additionally, power, video, audio and network connections for laptops have been added.
