Take Your Language & Culture Studies to Argentina this Summer!
As one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Buenos Aires— Argentina’s capital— is a city known for its elegant architecture, fashionable people and vibrant blend of European and Latin American culture. Through this two and a half week program, you’ll explore picturesque neighborhoods and modern wonders, all while strengthening your Spanish language skills in this Latin American jewel. You’ll challenge yourself through courses at the University of Buenos Aires’ Instituto de Literatura Hispanoamericana before moving on to explore the streets and academia of Corrientes—one of Argentina’s most beautiful (and colorful) provinces.
Throughout the program, students will visit Buenos Aires, Corrientes and the Iguazú Falls in Argentina, and will shop at an Antique Fair in San Telmo, tour Teatro Colón, and attend an authentic tango show at Gran Café Tortoni. With these lively experiences complimenting the classes attended throughout the trip, you’ll come to appreciate Spanish-American culture, and the wealth of historical, cultural, and political-related trends that have come to shape Argentina and contemporary Latin America.
