Global Studies Visiting Student Application

You’re on the verge of something great!

We’re thrilled that you’re considering studying abroad with St. John’s. Although we review applications for our semester programs on a rolling basis, we encourage students to apply as early as possible to increase their chances of attending their first choice program.

Your application is complete only when all of the forms below have been submitted:

  • Online application
  • Signed Course Option form. Your dean or academic advisor must sign the Course Option form to confirm your eligibility to take your chosen course(s). Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the study abroad courses you choose will bear credit at your home institution.
  • Official transcript from your home institution(s).
  • Written approval/letter of recommendation from your school's study abroad office.

If you do not have a passport, please begin the application process. You may visit the U.S. Department of State Web site at www.travel.state.gov/passport or visit your local post office for an application and list of requirements.

 

Please discuss the goals and objectives you seek to achieve through the study abroad program. Include any special interests, abilities or experiences abroad which have been instrumental in your decision to seek admission to the study abroad program (less than 250 words).

Please note that if you are from a partner institution, you are not eligible for additional St. John’s aid. If you aren’t sure whether your school is a partner institution, please contact us.
