2017 Summer Study Abroad Program Application

In summer 2016, students in the Rome Program visited the Constitutional Court of Italy and toured museums, cultural and historic sites, and ancient ruins to complement their coursework. The 2017 Rome Summer Program will run from May 28 - June 27.

In addition to the application form, each applicant must submit the following:

  • a $600 deposit
  • (for non-St. John’s Law Students) an official law school transcript and a letter from the Dean’s Office of the Law School in which she or he is currently enrolled, certifying (a) that the applicant will have completed at least one year of law study by May 28, 2017; (b) that the applicant is a student in good standing; and (c) that the applicant has permission to take the course(s) for credit

Course Selection

All students will take "Professional Responsibility: Global Context" and "International Art and Cultural Heritage Law." We will make every effort to accommodate requests for elective courses; however, due to class size limits, we cannot guarantee that all students will receive their top choices.
