The Center for Labor and Employment Law is please to offer St.
John's Law students the following scholarship opportunities:
Jackson Lewis Scholarship for Excellence in Labor and
Employment Law (except Class of 2014). This partial
tuition academic merit scholarship is awarded to an outstanding law
student intent on a career in management-side Labor and Employment
Law. Jackson Lewis LLP generously funds the award in memory
of late partner Alan C. Becker.
Cesar Chavez Memorial Prize for Excellence in Labor and
Employment Law (Class of 2014 only). This prize is awarded
to the Class of 2014 student with the highest cumulative average in
the Labor and Employment Law curriculum at the beginning of the
Interested students must submit a scholarship application by
Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 6 p.m. in person to
Paula Edwards, Center Assistant, Room 4-48 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scholarship Award Presentation
The scholarship awardees will be announced at the annual Management
Lawyers’ Colloquium on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in
the Law School’s Mattone Family Atrium.
