Spring 2013 1L Internal Negotiation
Competition
The ability to negotiate an agreement that best serves a client's
interests and needs is a critical lawyering skill. This internal
competition is a great opportunity for 1Ls to learn about
negotiation, explore the dispute resolution field, network with
practicing attorneys and become involved in one of the Law School’s
most engaging co-curricular programs. Experienced practitioners
will judge the competition and offer feedback to participants.
Participation in this competition is required to be considered for
the DRS External Competition Team.

page or at the information table in the Law School cafeteria.
*All registrants are encouraged to attend DRS’ Negotiation Crash
Course on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 5-6 p.m. in the Center
for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution (across from the Belson Moot
Court Room).
