Approximately thirty freshmen from the Queens and Staten Island
campuses are chosen each year to participate in the Ozanam Scholars
Program. The program includes an annual, renewable
scholarship of up to $10,000. During their four years, students
must achieve the following:
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Reside on campus for a minimum of two years
- Complete a Social Justice minor
- Complete service requirements
- Participate in various local, national, and international
excursions
- Participate in all Ozanam Scholars program events
- Study Abroad in your sophomore year
- Complete an independent study in their junior year
- Complete a capstone project by their senior year
- Adherence to the Student Code of Conduct guidelines
- Active membership in campus clubs
