Nature and Purpose of Agency
Holy Temple Church runs a food pantry for low income individuals
and families. The church receives both perishable and
non-perishable food from City Harvest, the Emergency Food Program,
Feed the Children and other agencies.
Tasks Available for Students
- Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (flexible hours):
Unloading donated food and packing it for food pantry distribution
(max. 5 students/day)
- Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Food pantry distribution (max. 5
students/shift)
- Saturday 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.: Food pantry distribution (max. 5
students/shift)

Driving
Drive on Utopia Pkwy until it turns into Homelawn St. Turn
right onto Hillside Ave. Turn left onto Merrick Blvd.
Turn right at Springfield Blvd.
Bus
Take the Q30 bus toward Jamaica Archer Ave/Merrick Blvd. Get
off the bus at Archer and Merrick. Transfer to the N4 bus
direction Freeport (East). Get off the bus at Merrick and
Springfield.
