Tasks Available for StudentsFood Pantry Food pantry serves over 1400 people per week. Volunteers needed to help unload food deliveries and help with organization. Accounting/Business Elohim need assistance with basic accounting work; receipts/inventory/spreadsheets. This work can be done on Friday afternoons (during/after food deliveries) or on Sundays. Time schedules are flexible.Website Maintenance Current website is over seven years old. Elohim does not know how to update or revamp the website. Would like to add updated materials, revamp website (if possible) and have tutorials made so a representative can learn how to manage the website. Any student interested and knowledgeable with computers can help.Time Requirements Food Pantry runs every Friday from 9am – 12pm and then again at 1pm-4pm. Pantry is very flexible with student schedules throughout the day on Friday. Every Friday, six students are needed to help lift and unload items from City Harvest and Food Bank deliveries (preferably men) and six students needed to help organize crowd control and the food pantry lines. Get off at Archer Av and Sutphin Blvd. Entrance near intersection of Sutphin Blvd and Archer Ave. Take the J train from Sutphin Blvd - Archer Av/JFK station heading to Manhattan / Chambers St. Get off at 111 Street.
