Nature and Purpose of Agency
Beraca SDA Church assists those in need. The food
pantry has been opened for over 15 years and serves up to 200
families a week and provides food bags and clothing to those in
need.
Tasks Available for Students
Food Pantry
Assist in preparing food bags and distribution. Two to three
volunteers are needed per shift.
Time Requirements
Wednesdays from 8am – 11am
Student Awareness/Special Instructions
Must register and work in groups of two or three.

Start out going NORTH on UTOPIA PKWY toward UNION. Turn RIGHT
onto UNION. Turn RIGHT onto FRANCIS LEWIS BLVD. Turn
RIGHT onto NEWTOWN RD. Turn RIGHT onto JAMAICA AVE.
Turn LEFT onto 191st. Church is on the left hand
side.
Public Transportation
Take the Q31 Bus from Utopia Pky and Union Tpke station heading to
Jamaica. Get off at 169 St and Jamaica Ave. 1 min
walk. Start out going East on Jamaica Ave towards 170th
St. Take the Q110 bus from 170 St station heading to Belmont
Park. Get off at 190 St. 2 min walk. Start out
going North East on Jamaica Ave towards 191st St. Turn right
onto 191st St. Arrive at 91-19 191ST ST.
