Queens Centers for Progress provides day services and a residential
program for children and adults with disabilities.
Tasks available for students
Marketing research and
Internet research for donors/donor information; use Photoshop to
create and update print and electronic communications; use Access
database to track donor information
Assist in planning and managing one of the 4 annual fundraising
Assist with basic accounting functions, including bank
reconciliations, maintaing Excel spreadsheets and other financial
records, and using Quicken 2000 to maintain financial records for
residents. Assist with budget projections (April, May,
Assist with network administration using Windows server 2003, or
website administration using Front Page.
Write policies and procedures which are in line with Medicaid
regulations. Excellent opportunity for student in medical or
health related field.
Flexible; minimum 10 hours during the semester
PPD and on-site HIPPA orientation are required.

Center is on 164th St. between 81st Ave. and Goethals Ave.
