Nature and Purpose of
Long Island Jewish Medical Center includes LIJ, SCH and
Hillside Hospital for psychiatric services. Their mission is
the provision of patient care services of the highest quality, the
continuing advancement of the art of science, medicine and the
ongoing search for new advances through health care research.
Tasks Available for
Adolescent Services, Nursing, Phobia Clinic, Psychiatric
Rehabilitation, Research and Social Work Services. Students
may also join in the Dementia Project in the geriatric unit for
one-on-one services for each patient.
