Nature and Purpose of
Agency
Known for its academic achievement, Cardozo recognizes that a

reflective of the specific needs and unique challenges of our

Tasks Available for
Students
Assist the special education classroom teacher with a variety of
tasks associated with literacy and writing:
- Reading Partners
- Writing Assignments
- Vocabulary
- Regents Preparation
- Writing Journal Entries
Time
Requirements
Mondays through Fridays:
- 8:15-9:15 a.m.
- 9:00-10:00 a.m.
- 10:45-11:45 a.m.
- 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Note: You must be able to commit to one shift per week for six
weeks.

Public Transportation
Walk to Union Turnpike and take the Q46 bus towards LK Success LIJ
HOSP via Union. Then get off at Union Turnpike and Springfield
Blvd. Walk north on Springfield Blvd and take the Q27 bus towards
Flushing Main St. Station. Get off at Springfield Blvd and 58
Avenue (School is visible then).
Driving Directions
Head north on Utopia Pkwy then turn right onto Horace Harding Expy.
Take the ramp on the left onto I-495 E. Then take exit 29 toward
Springfield Blvd. Merge onto Horace Harding Expy. Then make a left
onto Springfield Blvd. Turn right onto 58th Avenue and
then turn left onto 223rd street.
