Nature and Purpose of Agency
Family & Children’s Association is a coordinated network of more then 40 individual programs carefully designed to help anyone in trouble, at any stage in life.  We protect and nurture abused and neglected babies and children; shelter homeless or abandoned teens, teach children and teens, aid and support families in crisis; provide treatment and rehab to anyone with a mental heath or substance abuse problem; and safeguard senior citizens.

Tasks Available for Students
Many programs in different locations available; mentor elementary children teens and young adults, classroom assistance for children aged infants to twelve years of age, tutor adult/parents in literacy, provide telephone and face-to-face financial counseling (taxes, budgets, balance check books, etc) and health insurance, mentor and befriend a senior citizen.
