Description of Talk
The early Christians celebrated Sunday as the first day of the week
because it was the day of the Resurrection. It was also the
first day of the new creation and so a weekly celebration of praise
and thanksgiving for God’s creative action. In this
presentation, we will consider how Christians of today keep Sunday
both liturgically and spiritually as the “day of the Lord” which
consecrates the entire week.”
