Hot Topics in Social Justice

This Faculty Research Consortium of VISA developed the “Hot Topics in Social Justice” series to engage the St. John’s University community on all NYC campuses, particularly our students and faculty, on timely discussions of contemporary issues of social justice. The series provides a forum for in-depth exploration and discussion of issues that directly relate to the Vincentian mission of St. John’s University. Speakers from different disciplines and perspectives are intentionally selected to provide for a wide breadth of viewpoints and robust discussion. The series provides presentations throughout the academic year and all from the University community are welcome.
