St. John's University New York Campuses Closed

Out of concern for the safety of our students, faculty, and administration and in consideration of the widespread regional snow removal efforts which are expected, all St. John's University's New York campuses will be closed Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, 2015, and all classes will be canceled.

This closing applies to St. John's Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, and Oakdale campuses.

On March 5, 2014, we begin the sacred season of Lent.

“Come. Listen. Journey.”

St. John’s Campus Ministry invites you to take advantage of a wide range of programs for this Lenten season.

There are a variety of ways that we can experience Lent — you can help those most in need, learn about problems in the world that need change, experience different prayer styles and rediscover yourself and the presence of God in your life.

We invite you to explore the event calendars on the accompanying pages.

Recently Pope Francis reminded us to, "Remain steadfast in the journey of faith, with firm hope in the Lord. This is the secret of our journey!”  This is a great reminder as we begin our journey through Lent.

Come, Listen and Journey with us as a St. John’s community.
