Welcome to the St. John's University Retirees Association Web
site. Our goal to encourage the continuing relationship between
retirees and the University community and to:
- Provide a strong link between retired employees and the
University
- Provide opportunities for social interaction of the
members
- Act as a forum for discussion about University education, to
promote and further
higher education - Support the excellence of the University in the larger
community
- Encourage members to donate their time and resources to
appropriate University activities
- Assist the University in carrying out its objectives and
policies
- Encourage the University to take into account the needs of its
retirees
- Facilitate interaction with other retiree organizations
- Continue supporting the values and mission of the
University
- Serve as vocal advocates for the University’s programs and
activities in such areas as recruitment, retention and
graduation
