A Topic in the Message Board is the subject of a discussion. A
Message is a response to a specific Topic and a Reply is a response
to a specific Message. A Message Thread is created for
all replies to a specific message.
Writing Topics, Messages and
Replies
- To post a Topic click the Post a Topic link. If you are reading
posted messages within a topic and want to post a new topic click
on Topic List link as shown in above screen and then click on Post
a Topic link.
- Choose a specific and informative title for your topic and type
your topic in the screen that appears.
- To post a message responding to a topic, click the Post a
Message link.
- Choose a specific and informative title for your message and
type your topic in the screen that appears.
- To post a Reply to a Message, Click the link for the title of
that message. Then click the Post a Reply link.
- When you post a reply a message the message title appears in
the Subject box. Type your reply in the screen that appears. You
shouldn’t change the subject when you are replying to a specific
message or it becomes a new message with a new title.
- Click the Post button to post your reply.
