Cc
An abbreviation for carbon copy. If you add a recipient's name to this box in a message, a copy of the message is sent to that recipient, and the recipient's name is visible to other recipients of the message.

Bcc
An abbreviation for blind carbon copy. If you add a recipient's name to this box ina message, a copy of the message is sent to that recipient, and the recipient's name is notvisible to other recipients of the message. If the Bcc box isn't visible when you create anew message, you can add it.

Bcc: addresses are entered in the same way that To: and Cc: addresses are entered. The recipients listed here will receive a copy of the message, but there will be nothing in the message header that indicates a Bcc: was sent. The To: and Cc: recipients will not know a copy was sent to the Bcc: recipients.

Using Cc: and Bcc:

  • Left click on the "Inbox" icon.
  • Left click on the small down arrow next to the "New" button and then click "Message".
  • A new window will open. Type in the address you want to send the email to. Type email adresses in the "Cc" or "Bcc" field if you desire along with a "subject" (title).
  • Click the "Send" button.
