There are many search engines that we can use to perform a
search. One of most popular is "Google".
- Click on the "Internet Explorer" icon on your desktop and type
in the address bar "http://www.google.com".
When searching, the more detailed you make your search, the
better your results will be. For example: if we want to find the
website of the Department of Motor Vehicles in NYC.
- Type "dmv" in the search box and click "search".
The search result will be the general website of the DMV. - In the search box type "dmv nyc".
The search result will return the "New York DMV".
