Teaching with Wikis

A wiki is a collaborative knowledge base.  This web-based software allows users to create, edit, and link pages together to create a collaborative website.  The course also highlights benefits to use of a wiki in a course as well as practical implementation strategies. This course demonstrates how The Gateway’s wiki software functions.  An extensive overview on creating, editing and linking pages will be given.  In addition we will highlight more advanced features such as adding pictures and linking to external sites.  To conclude, we hold an interactive lab session to help you design a fully functional wiki for your course.
