As an Oxford member, you have access to Oxford On Call.
Oxford On- Call provides numerous benefits to members. It is
a 24 hour healthcare guidance hotline. Registered nurses
identify caller symptoms and recommend the next steps a member
should take. This may include instructions for self care,
recommendation for a visit to an urgent care facility or emergency
room, specialist referrals, or the activation of an emergency
procedure, such as calling 911. They are available to handle
after-hours medical management issues that must be resolved before
the next business day. If a member needs to be discharged
from the hospital, an On-Call nurse can arrange for things such as
home care, durable medical equipment, transportation or physical
therapy.
