The seeds for a training curriculum began in 1999 and since then
there have been over 14,000 participants through the various
courses offered. The Training and Development Certificate Program
was launched in 2003 and provides employees with the opportunity to
significantly enhance their professional development by attending a
variety of training classes. The program supports the University’s
strategic goal to build an organization of strong leaders where
faculty, administrators and staff are enabled, motivated and
engaged. It builds on the St. John’s culture of life-long
learning and aims to inspire learners to make a
difference.
