Job Purpose: The college work study student will work directly with the department assistant who will delegate day- to- day tasks and duties.  The student worker will perform basic office work, such as: making photo copies, filing, prepare information for mailings and make deliveries around campus.  Other duties include covering the reception desk and greeting and directing guests appropriately, either in person or on the telephone.  This position is for the academic year, once work study allotment begins.

Job Responsibilities: 
• Assist with answering telephones, faxing, filing correspondence, make photo copies
• Make deliveries around campus
• Stuff envelopes for mailings
• Greet office guests and direct to the proper individual(s) or resource
• Other clerical duties or special projects assigned

• Organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
• Professional workplace demeanor and ability to handle confidential material
• Familiarity with the office equipment

• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, flexible schedule (if required)
