Duties and Responsibilities
The opportunity: Student Life is the hub of activity for
200 resident and hundreds of daily commuter students on the
University’s campus in lower Manhattan. The office develops
student programming and Vincentian service experiences, manages a
leading residence life program, a campus concierge, fitness
facility, Student Government Association and much more.
Student Life Manhattan is seeking a student worker who is able
to work in both the Office of Student Life and the Manhattan Campus
Fitness Facility.
Ideal candidates are flexible in schedule, have excellent time
management, organizational and customer service skills, are
articulate in communication and genuinely interested in student
services.
Daily duties in the Office may include: registering students for
events, selling program tickets, drafting flyers, maintaining
bulletin boards, typing, filing, answering phones, and other duties
as assigned.
Daily duties in the Manhattan Fitness Facility may include:
signing in students, ensuring weights (up to 50 lbs.) are properly
replaced, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, and other
duties as assigned.
Computer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Publisher
