Responsibilities
General office responsibilities.
Typing, filing answering phones, break down/set up events, student
security during night events and swipe students ID cards.
Event Management Staff are responsible for monitoring all areas of
operations, as assigned to them by the Student Managers of the
Department of Student Life. Event Management Staff prepare
Student Life and student organization event set-ups and monitor the
areas of the University Center and Montgoris Dining Hall, in order
to assure that students, guests and patrons are following all rules
and protocols of the University. Moreover, EMS assists the
Department of Public Safety with security measures at all Student
Life and student organization evening and weekend events, and
assist the Department of Residence Life with opening weekend
activities.
Skills
Good telephone manner. Will teach all skills necessary for
the position.
Basic Microsoft Word & Excel
Schedule
Shifts vary from 8:00am – 10:00pm
