Job Description
Academic Support for Student-Athletes at St. John's University, a
Division I program with membership in the Big East Conference, is
seeking student workers to act as a monitor for study center. The
position will work directly with student-athletes and the academic
support staff in all aspects of the academic support program.
Student-Athletes and the academic support staff in all aspects of
the academic support program. Student-Athletes below a 3.0 are
required to complete six hours of structured studying each week.
The study center in and check out student-athletes using a swipe
card system. This worker will be responsible to insure a productive
and quiet study environment.
Qualifications
A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA as an undergraduate. Student
should be of junior or senior status at the university. Experience
working with students. Experience with or a demonstrated
appreciation of intercollegiate athletics. Demonstrated ability to
build working relationships with a broad range of people. Available
to various times between 10am-7pm Monday-Friday
