Job Description
The student worker position is ideal for those students with
federal work study looking to gain maximum insight into collegiate
athletic department. Student Workers for events aid the event
manager in overseeing and orchestrating a successful athletic event
experience. Customer service skills are needed to interact and
provide information to our patrons. These individuals help set up
and oversee events and operations before during and after a
competition. Occasionally, these student workers aid in certain
office duties such as the administration and maintenance of the
event staff database, production and distribution of the guide for
visiting teams and fulfilling other responsibilities as they arise.
These individuals must be comfortable in a fast paced environment
in which they are occasionally asked to lead other students.
Dedication and self-motivation are a must. A driver’s license is a
plus. The experience obtained will be a terrific resume booster for
any future career.
