Job Description
An exciting career opportunity is available in the College of
Professional Studies. The position reports to the Assistant Dean of
Strategic Planning and Budget. CPS is seeking an enthusiastic,
energetic individual, who is early in career growth and an MBA
student or potential MBA student. This is a fast paced and
challenging environment dealing with faculty, administrators, staff
and students.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and financial support to the CPS
Associate Dean of Academics and Assistant Dean of Strategic
Planning and Budget.
- Maintenance of the Yearly Budget, performing analysis, budget
projections (consisting of 9 academic departments and 3 academic
campuses and support facilities).
- Processing all purchase orders, check requisitions, budget
transfers, stipends, travel reimbursements, personnel change forms,
checking on monthly financial rollups and maintaining records for
yearly reference as needed.
- Prepare and distribute adjunct and administrator contracts
(semester basis) and all contracts during the winter and summer
sessions.
- Assist in research pertaining to program development and
enhancement (i.e. new program degrees).
- Acting as a liaison with the Business and Accounts Payable
Offices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree a plus.
- Some administrative experience preferred.
Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and
contingent upon the departmental budget.
