Responsibilities

  • Establish and coordinate social justice group and programming for resident student population (e.g. Hunger Awareness Month, Students for Global Justice).
  • Establish and coordinate Vincentian service opportunities regularly including evenings and occasional weekends for the resident student population.
  • Live in the residence hall and be available to students in need on a 24 hour basis for counseling, spiritual accompaniment, mentoring opportunities (availability on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings).
  • Visible presence in Montgoris Dinning Hall three to four times a week.
  • Provide programming pertaining to Catholic mission, spiritual and moral development and Vincentian heritage (RA training, RA classes, Resident Hall staff meetings).
  • Assist with Sunday night Mass and social program.
  • Coordinate one of the Vital (Vincentian Initiative To Advance Leadership) groups.
  • Assist with Retreat Program.
  • Assist with Plunge Programs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology or related field is required; Masters degree is preferred.

Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and contingent upon the departmental budget.
