Department of Psychology - Three Assistant/Associate Professors
The Department is seeking applications for one tenure track
position in social and/or cross cultural psychology on the Queens
campus. The successful candidate should be able to teach
graduate and undergraduate courses in social psychology and/or
cross cultural psychology. Qualifications include an earned
doctorate in social psychology, potential to start a research
program, publications and the ability to attract external
funding.
The Department is seeking applications for one tenure track
position in cognitive psychology on the Queens campus. The
successful candidate should be able to teach graduate and
undergraduate courses in cognitive psychology. The ability to
teach courses in learning is desirable. Qualifications
include an earned doctorate in cognitive psychology, potential to
start a research program, publications and the ability to attract
external funding.
The Department is seeking applications for one term appointment in
school psychology. The majority of the courses taught will be
at the Oakdale location in Suffolk County. The successful
candidate should have an identity as a school psychologist and be
eligible for school psychology certification in New York
State. The area of expertise within school psychology is
open. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in school
psychology, and a school psychology internship.
