Director, Master of Public Health Program

Department: Pharmacy Administration and Allied Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences 

St. John’s University will be establishing a new Master of Public Health (MPH) program.  This program is expected to begin in fall 2013.  We are seeking applicants for the Assistant or Associate Professor who will also serve as the Director of the MPH program, a tenure-track position and rank will be commensurate with experience. The Director will provide leadership, direction and administrative oversight to develop and implement the program and seek future CEPH accreditation.  This position is available immediately. 

The candidates must hold an earned doctorate in public health (preferred) or in a related discipline; have a demonstrated capability to cultivate practicum education; and must have significant teaching and administrative experience.   Prior leadership experience in a CEPH accredited public health program is preferred.
