The University is committed to attracting, motivating and
retaining qualified employees through its compensation program. For
administrators and staff this program is designed to evaluate
appropriate compensation levels for jobs, encourage growth, and
reward those individuals who support and fulfill the University's
mission. To ensure the University's commitment to these employees,
we continue to design and support competitive pay,
performance-based pay increases, recognition programs, and career
development.
The Compensation group oversees administrator and staff job
evaluations, merit reviews, the Special Recognition Program, and
the Exceptional Performance Award. Section 300 of the Human
Resources Policy Manual is dedicated to describing the University's
administrator and staff compensation policies.
Faculty related services provided by the Compensation group include
conducting salary reviews, benchmarking and market salary surveys
and providing guidance to the academic deans on salary development
for prospective faculty.
