Last month’s showcase on the Queens campus featured student
workers, student interns, their supervisors and faculty advisors in
a way that hasn’t been done before at St. John’s. Focusing on
the benefits of student employment and on-campus academic
internships for experiential learning and career preparation, the
Office of Human Resources together with
University Career Services outlined ways for
employees and departments to get more involved. After the
presentation, a panel representing students, faculty and
supervisors shared experiences and answered questions.
