Multicultural Affairs - English as a Second Language - Queens Campus

This event is meant to teach participants about the ESL classes used to teach foreign students the English language when entering school in the United States. The methodology and effectiveness of these classes will be discussed. Other topics include barriers students face when learning the language and culture, as well as the difficulties of keeping one’s roots, while simultaneously immersing oneself in a new culture.
