The Parable of the Good Samaritan (Lk 10:25-37) is one of the
most familiar in biblical literature. The story arises as the
answer to a question posed to Jesus: “Who is my neighbour?”; but
that question emerges within the larger issue of achieving eternal
life. In this session, we will reflect upon the meaning of
this wonderful parable as suggested by its context and the
promptings of our own hearts. There is much for us to discuss and
learn as we allow this message to be addressed to us.
