Active Shooter Preparedness
Training: Safety Tips
An active shooter scenario occurs when one or more persons are
present on the university grounds whose only objective is to cause
serious injury or death to as many people as possible by the use of
a firearm. Come to this brief session to learn some practical tips
on what to do in the unlikely event of a gunman on campus. This
program is open to faculty, administrators and staff.
Note: Attendance at this program is optional and
is in addition to (not in lieu of) the Emergency Readiness training
that is required for all faculty, managers and employees.
