The School of Education and Office of Alumni Relations are proud
to sponsor the Carol Gresser Forum’s First Annual Autism Conference
and Panel titled Autism: Building Bridges among Practice, Education
and the Law. Scheduled for Monday, March 21, 2011, this
all-day event builds awareness of autism and provides insight on
the treatment and instruction of children diagnosed with this
disorder.
The topics covered during the conference workshop include:
- Asperger’s and Bullying
- Communication Strategies for Speech Pathologists and
Teachers
- A Comprehensive View of Behavior Intervention
- Best Practices for Assessment of Autism Stress Disorder
(ASD)
- Promoting Socialization and Play Skills in Children with

Autism
