Pharmacy students and professors from St. John’s University
joined regional practitioners and peers from other academic
institutions in Albany this spring to speak with lawmakers about
legislation affecting pharmacists throughout the state.
The St. John’s contingent—45 students and 4 professors from the
College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences—traveled to the capitol on
April 16 as part of Pharmacy Lobby Day. The effort brought together
pharmacists from regional professional organizations as well as
students and faculty from New York’s other colleges of
pharmacy.
