First Destination Survey

Career Outcomes Class of 2013

Each year, the University Career Services conducts a Graduate Destinations Survey of the graduating class to learn more about the career choices made by St. John's graduates. Specifically, we seek to identify the numbers of students who are (1) employed, (2) seeking employment, and (3) going to graduate school within six months of graduation.

This information is helpful to the University Career Services staff in counseling and advising students and alumni. The results of the survey provide valuable insight for faculty members, students and parents about the wide range of opportunities currently available to St. John's University students.

The data here are representative of the three graduating classes (September, January and May) from the three campuses (Queens, Staten Island, and Manhattan) from September 2012, January 2013, and May 2013.

Sixty-six percent (2553 of 3851) of the graduating class receiving their Associate, Baccalaureate, and Graduate degrees provided information on their post-graduation status. The data provided here pertains only to those 70% of undergraduates who responded to the survey.
