Career Peers

Career Peers
Career Peers are student paraprofessionals who enhance the experience of fellow students by modeling professionalism and sharing expertise gained through internships and leadership activities.

They play a valuable role in supporting the mission of University Career Services, serving as a resource to internal and external constituents, including students, faculty, administration, and employers.

Career Peers are available to assist students in their college with career advice, including:

  • Resume and cover letter development
  • Job and internship search basics
  • Interview tips
  • Graduate school search and application process
  • Using our online resources (e.g., Handshake (St. John's Recruiting Platform), Vault, Career Insights)

Career Peers are generally available to assist between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, when classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters.

Follow our Career Peers on Instagram @GetHiredStJohns or call us at 718-990-6375 to find out when peers are available.
